Polished Rock Specimens

Many of these are rocks that I have cut for myself, most are agate, jasper, petrified wood, and miscellenous materials from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. None of the photos are enhanced - indeed, the photos don't do these proper justice. They are all have as high a polish as is possible have no visible scratches. I am extremely picky about that. Many of these are rare types that you simply aren't going to find for sale anywhere else. Slabs are noted, otherwise these are rough pieces with one side cut and polished.
All pieces will be sent Parcel Post mail or flat rate priority mail ($9.55 - $20.95), depending on weight, whichever is less unless you specify the shipping method. The majority will be priority mail padded flat rate envelope = $9.55.

Slab 27 Montana Moss agate, Yellowstone River MT 2 3/4" slice. This is agate is known for its black dots, and this is nearly top grade.

Slab 28 Davis Creek Green Sheen Obsidian, CA

4 1/4" chunk, Davis Creek seems to have an infinite variety of colors, and all green is something I have rarely found in a thousand pounds or so. Extremely bright color. This obsidian should be viewed in strong indoor or outdoor light, best in full sunlight.

Slab 30 Limb cast, unknown 3 3/4" piece, a real oddball cast. This is agate that filled in a hole in a hot pyroclast flow where a branch was burned out. Exactly the same as Mt. St. Helens. Yes there will be a lot of casts there in a few thousand years :)

Slab 31 Pink Lady Obsidian, Davis Creek CA 5 1/4" piece, this one has vey bright pink/purple color sheen that this variety in known for. This obsidian should be viewed in strong indoor or outdoor light, best in full sunlight.

Slab 32 Davis Creek Rainbow Obsidian, CA 7 1/2" piece, the rainbow pits have been wrecked by greey commercial miners and now only their leftovers remain. This was dug back when it was relatively common in this size. Veyr bright rainbow colors. This obsidian should be viewed in strong indoor or outdoor light, best in full sunlight.

Slab 33 Rufus Picture Jasper, OR 4" piece, very intricate patterns and a bonus cave for ants in this very rare (and very hard to polish!) jasper.

Slab 34 Lily Pad Too jasper, OR 4 1/2" piece, I found this and it's a twin of the Lily pad jasper, which in the same general area. Slab 35 Rocky Butte jasper, Owyhee Mtns., OR OR 4 3/4" piece, this rare jasper was dug decades ago by the former claim owner. One of the better pieces that I have had.

Slab 36 Petrified Wood, Yellowstone River, Montana 2 1/2" river rock, I don't know about you but I've only seen agate from the river, so I'm guessing this is uncommon. Intricate growth rings, it could have been part of a root.

Slab 37 Hubbard Basin Petrified Wood, Nevada 5 1/2" cross section of a branch, Hubbard Basin is well known for its colorful wood and there isn't a lot of it out there. Nice red and brown wood with clear agate.
